i can almost garantee that your filter or somthing broke in your tank contaminating it.

Everything is working properly. (2) Emperor 400 (1) Fluval 405.

It's not dirty..Just a little cloudy. And it just got like this yesterday after being crystal clear for 2 weeks.

If you had ammonia removing stuff in the filters your tank probably never properly cycled. I would do a 50% water change minimum and put the ammonia chips back in.

Does the cloudiness look kind of "smokey"? Like if you run your hand through it, does it kind of swirl like smoke in the air? If so, that means your tank isn't cycled and you've got high nitrites. In any case, I'd do a good sized water change, just to be on the safe side.

Yea i can kind of see the smokey swirl...Just a little tho...

The Nitrites are at 0.

Im going to get a new test kit today, as mine is about 5 years old..But it has never failed me b4??

Just came back with the new test kit. The ammonia level looks like it it is up 1 level. Everything else looks good.

How much of a water change should I do? And I will be adding the ammo chips back into the Fluval.

NO there is not a lot of leftovers....I only saw 1 half eaten guppy stuck to the filter, a few days b4 1 of my little guys died.
