I once saw a silver dollar dried up on the floor in a petco :(. Guy said it was half off o_O.

Good to know. How big does this one in the pic get? Is it smaller than typical id shark?

Sorry to hear about the big sds:(

Similar things here. SD freak out sometimes and hit everything.

But they have nothing on black ears. These guys have nuclear meltdowns. No wonder yours broke through the lid. Gotta drop the water level a lot or make latches for the lids.

IDK if basa is the same as swai but both are pangasids. I think swai is IDS.

I think swai is just another trade name for them. There is an interesting backstory regarding the use of those names.

Hope he makes it!! I am not putting SD in my new tank.....they are too aggressive around feeding time making it rough to get food to all. I can never get anything to plecos with them around. Even little ones will grab wafers and swim around playing keep away.....

They can be aggressive feeders depending on their tankmates. This group is pretty docile due to the kelberi who try their best to not share the smallest morsel of food.

My SD bully the two Kelberi in my tank. They are new and 5-6". One is eating blood worms the other is starving itself for feeders. Been 10 days since he ate. Moving em into the 180.

Once they finally take pellets they will start to put on size and become really greedy.
