Solifugids are great. I've seen larger species take down lizards. Great fun to watch them run down their prey.
It's also funny seeing them chase people to. Crazy little guys.

Whoah, sickness. I didn't know they had them in the Aloha State.
I'm not in Hawaii bruddah.;)

The first one has some great colors! I'd love to keep some one day. My roommate is terrified of spiders, regardless of size, so that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

The first one did have a nice yellow on it's back. The tubby one was laid back, but the skinny one was the crazy one. Nice spider non the less.

only spider i would ever consider to keep. AWESOME!!!

I would mind keep one either, but the ones I have seen in the states were only 6'' to 8'' TL max. The Afghan Camel spiders are by far the bigger I have seen and more of them. Iraq camel spiders are 2x smaller then the ones in Afghan.

My step bro was supposed to go over in afgan and um.... make one disappear and reappear in my possession but he got kicked out. long story. short version, MORON!!

1st shot looks good. Keep em coming. Can u get pics of em outta the box? Or are they too quick?

They aren't actually spiders, though they are part of the same class, along with scorpions, ticks etc. They do not possess venom, nor can they spin silk.
Cool little guys.:)
