Camshafts' new project. "The growout"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Good god thats a few scrubbies. And of course the cats have to get into the new boxes. Best toy you could ever get a cat is an empty box.

yup. They've been waiting all day to get inside those boxes.
Well, actually, all 4 of us were waiting all day to get inside those boxes...

1,920 pot scrubbies. Honestly, I was going to unpackage them and spread them out with me on them
all "American Beauty" style.....:grinno:
But I figured it would get deleted.

any updated tank pics?
Ask and ye shall recieve.

As some of you know the tank busted and separated a good foot and a half at it's previous home. The back wall came off of the bottom.

So I got me some Weld on #16.

I also picked up some scrap acrylic and some acrylic rod for a little bit of extra reinforcement. I went ahead and used as much of the rod as I could on the inside of the tank, on and around the area that busted. I then took the large scrap piece and sealed it on the back of the tank, just in case, Sealing together the back panel and the bottom panel. I also went ahead and resealed the whole thing. Can't be too careful.

Before (just so happen to be sporting the MFK shirt that day)

And after. If you look carefully on the bottom right of the tank, you can see were I attached that piece of acrylic. That will be the back side of the tank against the wall.

I still need to make more separations in the tank. It'll be 16 cubes.
I will try and make them easily removable so that I can play around
with large and smalls.

Got me some plastic peg board and a few checkered lighting sheets.

cleaned up the sump tank. I'll be trying to work on that this weekend.

Theres still a lot of empty space in that room.... I never thought I'd need to say this to YOU but you need more tanks.

My fish room is on the other side of that wall. lol
I keep the 240 and my planted out there because I ran out of room.:D

Here's the vid of the fish room.

This tank is going in that room.

I moved the ball python out of the room and next to the 240 in the big room. Then I scooted over the 30 gallon infront of the window and took the tank out of the closet to put in the litter boxes. It should be interesting...
In my video of my fish room you can see what I'm talking about

Here's a basic idea of what I'm doing with my sump. PLEASE if anyone has any suggestions, questions or ideas for me, please let me know soon. This sump is going to be a "hmm, what else could I do to this" sump. So input would be great. This is just a rough sketch. and I'm going to be working on it very soon.
I was going to make a bio tower for it out of boredom, but I think I'm good biologically. I think I'll save that one for my 300.
Did it in paint.....I have photoshop CS4, but for some reason, when I'm in a hurry I go straight to paint.
