i have flower horn and green texas that always together and gurding their pot and fighting all other cichlids

the fh is male

but i think that the texas is also male

or a my wrong ??

if not.....is this normal :confused:

the fins of the flowerhorn is a little torn becouse of my other flower horn when i try to put them togather to mate so u can't know , but i know

They can mate if you can coax one into laying eggs. It may be better to have them lay golden eggs instead of regular ones.

The only time I have heard of a fish changing sex is with true perculas.
 
I dunno know about the FH, but that GT is mos def a male. They may not be able to make babies, but perhaps you could bless them with a civil union or something.

Actually quite a few kinds can, its to ensure their survival in future generations. Some start off as one and grow into the other.
However in this case, not so.

i leave like this to insure the gt is actully female but lokk loke male...
or i devided them and put each one with female if thy r really males

cos i really neaed that tank for onther fishs that i put in smaller tank just so these two have their own space
