Firstly, what size of tank?
i only have a 125 BUT i only keep small fish in it, when they get bigger then about 8 inch i sell them

i just want to know if i can put a silver arow w/ an aropaima

I would skip the Pima and get something else, maybe another filter and some other cool fish.

Get some bottom dwellers, Striped Raphael, Snowball pleco, Synodontis or something along those lines that won't get huge but still get big enough to be interesting. (I have all three) The Arrow will need most of the water column and these guys would stay out of it's way.

You do you realise how big a Pima gets and the MIMINUM size?

I am worried and confused now!

ive seen them as small as about 8 inch, i figured i can keep one for a little before it grows, but it was just a thought, are you going to answer my question or keep beating around the bush? lol
