can an arowana live with koi fish?

i just got this new juvenile arowana and was wondering if it could live with koi peacefully..also..i heard that arowanas jump alot..specifically out of the tank?..was wondering if this could be avoided..or..prevented? by the feeding habits or if it can't..haha how heave of a weight should i put ontop of my acrylic tank..thanks

I would say yes as long as the koi are big enough but it also depends on how agressive the arowana is

haha dang you reply'd fast..alright thanks..oh...what about newts and arowanas? know it sounds stupid but i gotta get some tanks outta my room and was trying to combine all i could..thanks alot

I'm pretty sure they'd eat the newts almost immediatly

125 gallons...yah i jsut don't want him to eat the newts as he grows.

how big is he compared to the newts because he could probably eat them as soon as you dropped them into the tank

kois can live in whatever temp really i kept mine with a bichir at 79F it was fine
