  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was saying I had fair fish since I was 5, they all died like after a month. Idk where he got his, if it was just him taking care of it. I don’t know him like that but I do agree

Yeah fair fish don't live that long of a life usually but more often then not the parents don't even want the fish in the first place so they tend to secretly just flush it. Sadly the life of a fair fish is most definitely not "fair".

Ever consider African cichlid?
Usually tend to stay smaller are very active , aggressive and very colorful.

and to stay on topic I’ve found with enough Space and places to hide I’ve kept the two together for sometime now and have seen 0 signs of aggression from either
Ornate Bichir is pushing 12inch
Africa Lung is 24 inch

I wouldn't quite say that keeping a "fair fish" alive for 8 years isn't experience. That's honestly pretty good if your a kid and able to take care of a fish for that long with little to no problems. Most "fair fish" generally don't make it more then a couple months let alone for 8 years, atleast in the hands of your average kid. Granted I will agree that experience does come with time but you can't gain that experience by just research alone, in order to gain that experience you have to eventually take the plunge and dive in head first. Tho I will also agree that research should always be first and foremost before diving straight in. Bottom line is is that (research)+practice=experience
I mean come on parents didnt even help with nothing with the fish only buying some stuff that is it they killed some of my goldfish because they didnt know what watsr cycle was 6 years old i already knew the water my mom killed 2 of my goldfish because she put chlorinated water

Yeah my parents couldent do that because my biggest goldfish was around 10 inches so they couldn't replace

Maybe i guess i really do like buffalo cichlids and you kept the bichir and lung fish together with no problems

Either way i may not get the mahseer until i move to my new home and i get a 300 gallon stock pond so i may do the african cichlid tankin the 55 so what species/ how big to they get and how many for a 55 plus the bichir and lungfish

good luck i think your write in syaing that lungfish and bichers are not compatible but in some circumstances they are it is mainly down to personality and size diffrence and visible barriers things like that it may work for one guy but may not work for you
