my lfs that has the nice owner has a senegal bichir that's merely 3 inches long, I think it would stay somewhat small, idk if I can find a short body bichir, what about some discus?If you do get a bichir, get a short body if anything.

okI think breeders sometimes use 29s for a single breeding pair but with no substrate. Not for amateurs though so I don't reccomend getting them.

meh, angelfish are ok-ish, i think I'll just do fancy guppies, I will have axolotl food and guppies to give to my lfsHey, some people do that. No judgement to those who do it.
You could get a large angelfish. I hear they can take down guppies.
