Bala sharks.

Hehehehehehe. I have nice parents that let me buy things ;)

Wow, I really like those longears

I was thinking about discus...But I would want a heavily planted tank, and the lights and everything would cost so much and then I would probably overdose on co2 and kill everything and then I would have a tank full of dead pretty fish. :grinno:

Bala sharks are cool I guess. But they grow too slowly :headshake

If it were me:

Dovii
or
Umbi
or
Festae Pair
or
Jag Pair
or
H. Aimara
or
Haitinesis
or
Fahaka Puffer
or...

Well, lets just put it this way: There are worse problems to have then the one facing you : )
Good Luck!!

And how the hell are you 14 and already getting to do all this crap no problem, I'm 23 and struggling to start out in the hobby :irked: SW reef tank is a dream for me thats probably a good 5+ years off...:irked:

Hey I got some of that at 13-14. Trust me it is far better to have never had it then have it and then have to give it up. I had to drop the hobby from 19-26. Didn't get anything near my old 125 till 29. That sucks much more than only being able to look towards the future.

On topic: Are you looking for something that's high maintenance or low maintenance? Sharks and barbs depending on the species can be active hearty pets. Balas sharks and tinfoil barbs are personal love of mine.

or u could find one of those atlantic rays from st. john river that are pure fresh ..... thats legal in wherever u r right? cuz thats like the only legal ray in California except... the asian rays, which i highly doubt you can find that easily, those whiptails, borneos, asian tigers, really hard to find

I dont know much about large mouth bass. Ill look them up though.

Please say arowana aren't illegal here?
