well i seem to have come up with an idea and not sure if it would work or if its even worth doing so heres my idea take three 220 gallon tanks 72'' long 30'' tall and 24'' wide take the sides of the three tanks length wise and then putting them back together side by side giving me a 660 gallon tank is it worth doing or even possible?:screwy:

thanks

i think its possible. youll just have to have proper bracing due to the fact that the glass is designed to support 220g and not 660 gallons.

Maybe if you converted it into a plywood tank and did it like that, otherwise it would be very hard if even possible at all.

Gonna let someone else give you a definitive answer though, I'm not too savvy with acrylic builds.

well i can pick up three 220gals glass tanks for $300 for all three if i braced them on the inside with the glass i take of the ends and run 8 top strips from side to side down them do you think it would be enough?

^^^You could make a very large plywood tank out of that glass, but I think with proper bracing you can do it. Also getting everything to line up flush would be a prob in my eyes.
