i agree the thickness of your glass will not be able to handle the weight almost positive and the pressure would shift your glass and bust the silcone seams i think but plz try because if it worked it would be a hell of a tank.

all i can do is try right if it works it works but if it doesint just one more thing i can put under my belt of fish keeping

Well, live and learn! You are a lot braver than me. I wouldn't have the nerve to even try it. Even if it appeared sound after the build, once the water was added I 'd be a nervous wreck. Did it fail during the build or after you added water? In any case, I wish you the best on your future build. It will be a huge tank.

once i filled it half way the side blew out made a nasty crackin noise and that was it good thing i did it in the shop lol i was a nervous wreck too. but on to the plywood tank build :)
 
Surprised so many people are advocating this... sounds like an explosion waiting to happen.

yeah that would have been 100000 hits on youtube for sure. ill keep tryin!!! id rather have an epic fail like that then never to have tryd it.
