It would be very heavy and what would you use for the bottom? Be a awsome monster tank though.

it would be around 900lbs or more with nothing in it and i would use a peace of glass of one of the sides to seal the bottom with ge silcone

that would help structurally. im thinking maybe build some sort of 2x4 frame? is this gonna be a show tank or anything special? you could get a fabricator to do something out of metal also

no its not gonna be a show tank just gonna be for me and my fish lol aros gars and so on and with a 2x3 frame would just box the tank and all sides?

as long as your not real picky (im no engineer either so...haha) i think if you mock up a frame just like the plastic bracing on normal tanks, but include some sort of bracing on the side of the tanks at the seams, it should work. also when you use the end pieces of glass to seal up the bottom, staggar it and that would help strengthen it to. but, make sure you test fill it outside lol

I would look into what coverage your home onwers policy has for flooding before I put any water in it.

i just meant by making sure you place the end piece so that the seams between the two bottom pieces is in the center of the end piece. that should help more on structure

oh okay i understand now

I am gonna go ahead and say no. But if you really want to try it I would check and see what thickness glass would be on a normal 700 gallon tank. Even if it is safe I don't think it would be cost or time effective.
