Poultry meat is excessively fatty. Feeding it sometimes is okay, as a staple would be a big no-no to your arowana's overall longevity in my opinion. People mentioning the digestion are a bit off, as this problem only occurs when idiots feed baby birds and whatnot to their fish. The meat is fine as a digestable food source, it is just not as healthy in the long run.
Have been feeding chicken usually breast fillet about once a week with the odd wing tip every now and then to my Jars and Greens as part of a very varied diet for many years (12 years for one Jar) current Green is 15" and gets chicken breast fillet once a week as much as he can eat in one feeding, loves it.
A Chinese restaurant I was in throws sweet and sour chicken nuggets in their Aro tank..as well as other meat scraps..They don't appear to have any water issues and fish look healthy and thick..
