the first is a bullhead, you can tell by the squared off tail. the second is a pumpkin seed. the red ear tab and orange speckles on him are the mark to look for. the last is a massive shiner. just like you would buy in a bait store, just huge lol. american shad would have a black dot right behind his head. i 125 would be plenty of room for these guys. for mine i have not even had to run a heater for them. mid to upper 70's is a good spot for them to be. a bullhead normally wont get over 2ft. the normally will stop at about 15-18 inches. the pumpkin seed, can get to a foot but an old fish and will take a long time to get that big. the same could be said for most panfish.

Yep I second guessed the shiner thing and thought it was a shad. Thanks for confirming that.

would massivore be good for all these guys? im gonna starve them all for 5 days then try feeding some massivore. is this ok to do to newly added natives or will the hunger cause problems?

i would just watch them. they may not even need that long. my pumpkinseeds and blugill only needed 1 day lol. that was with the hikari food sticks. i like ou am gonna get my bullhead on the massivoir as well. he eats like a pig and worms got expensive quick. i think that if anyone will get cranky, it will be the bullhead though. that is how mine is anyway.

First is either black or a brown bullhead, I'm leaning towards black but they are so similar it doesn't really matter. Second is a pumpkin seed sunfish and third is a golden shiner, same as the ones you get in the bait shops, just bigger. As said above, they'll eat quickly. I've put a bullhead in a bucket filled with water while I was fishing and it ate a worm that I put in there out of curiosity.

NBD i did the same thing the other day when i caught some mullet in a cast net. i thought they were shad as well at first but under futher investigation, they were not lol.

I think u should look into a rubbermaid compost. Sorry to sidetrack the thread but to the op as well. I started a rubbermaid compost and I have a good amount of worms now even after I bring some to fish and to feed my fish. Definetly a good idea if you keep natives. Mine also smells really good! Haha it smells like pine and a garden mixed. Because I only compost vegetables
