Argggh are you ever happy?? its better than Dels 180g for his 28inch silver, but even then she must be happy as she is eating and even laying her eggs in there.

Actually no. Del's 180 Is better because it is 24"W a tank being deeper doesn't do much help to a fish unless it's a really deep bodied fish. In the case of arowanas, it's the width that matters.

thank you Trust, any how JACKOSCAR im only 15 and to have a 60g a 30g a 115g that i bought my self and stocked my self, and i dont even have a job (money from ebay sales) and i look after them my self, i think you should cut me some slack im still young and learning thats why i posted this thread.

this is the main reason i dont know why you guy say what tank you have in gals as it means nothing 180 could be 3ft deep x 12inch wide it would still hold the same water

the lenght and width are the most importank thing with aros

for a silver or black aro i would say 6ft long x 30inch wide is the smallest tank you can get away with but 36inch wide would be better

You got my thumbs up . When I was 15, the biggest tank I had was a 50 Gallon :(.

I agree with you T1K. Length and width are most important and not the height of the tank. that is why I always recomend wider not deeper. Besides deepers tanks are a pain in the ass to clean. :swear:
