Can i have a ray?

op simple as any ray you get will OUT GROW IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS NOT A YEAR
the sticky is refearing to baby rays not a species so its basically saying baby rays are fine in 75gs but not for long its just a basic housing guide for babys
and you shouldnt be getting an animal for just an experience to give back after a bit if your happy to buy an animal you should be able to house it for life their not a toy for experimenting on
SIMPLE AS DONT GET A RAY and pls dont start all this WHAT IF at the end of the day its simple you cant house a ray for life so dont get one
basically stop argueing saying were all nasty because you dont like the truth you ask a question we tell you the answer and you call us nast errr! i dont get it stop thinking of your self and think about the animal

I have to agree with the OP. If I was new to fishkeeping, and sought advice from you guys, I probably would not come back to MFK. Even among all the rude replies, he kept his cool and stuck to the point...merely repeating what was written, as he was advised to read the stickies. I do not understand why people on MFK get so belligerent. Don't get me wrong...I love and value this website. But its like everyone gets offended if you do not concede to their point immediately. The forums are indeed for inquiry right?
An open forum leaves room for many options, opinions, and the like. Sure...people are free to be as rude as they want...Its just not necessary or productive.
To the OP...if you have any further questions, PM me and I will exercise a little more patience than many of my fishkeeping colleagues have exercised. I have well over 10 years experience with ray keeping and currently own 11 rays among many other rare and exotic fish.
