Can I house a ray in a 180 for life

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I say as long as you have atleast 100 gallon tank then good, but the 100 gallon tank has to be wide in foot length. About a foot or half a foot up and really long all around. FOOTSPACE is the key to housing a ray. And water changes and food.

Pbass and rays in a 180 won't last long but as long as you have a drip or a sump attached to the tank then buy a couple of rays and enjoy. You just might be the first person on here that can personally give a testimony as to how long it really took to out grow your tank. I have some rays in my 200 that has a foot print of 6 feet by 27 inches that are atleast 2 1/2 years old and are 8-10".

:duh:

Thanks for the HORRIBLE advice

Retics are living it up in a 300 gallon rubbermaid. I wouldnt put motoros or big rays in it. But for retics it beats most aquariums out there

Your name suits you well. Probably best to stop giving advice, and just stick to asking Qs and listening.

180 is to small I'm not a lover of the rubber maids or tubs as you don't get to see the rays in there full glory even with a viewing panel
