can i keep a crayfish?

Probably. They dont need much space, all they want to do is hide and eat. Some species can get pretty big though, youll need to make sure its not one of those.
 
Its labeled blue crayfish and he's about a good 4inches at the most they also have red crayfish that are only around 2" also they've had all of these guys for years and havntnreally grown I just got intrested in them
 
10g is fine, as long as there isn't anything else in there you don't mind getting pinched. Crayfish reminds me of shotguns, don't add/point it at anything you don't want destroyed.
 
yup blue crays are fine for a 10G
 
awsome he's having sale 2 for $3 i might have some nice cover in there with some live plants. silversides and squid should be fine right? I have bunch of carnivores so he will have plenty of meaty foods
 
It depends on the species, most "blue crayfish" I know will need a heater at some point because they are either tropical or temperate animals, and water that drops below the high 60s can kill them. Some are cold water species or cold water adaptable, but again, it'll depend on the species.
