yes they are agressive when hungry and also territorial about thier homes. Also, I would not do a planted tank. Crays will eat your plants.

they will eat anything that gets to close to them, but they can also be in danger if you have bigger fish; because when they molt, there soft and are vulnerable to the bigger fish unless they have a very good hiding spot where the bigger fish can't get at him.

^ Marble Crays (self cloning crays) are only really good if you are keeping them as a food source for a predator... otherwise, you may end up being over run and not know what to do with them...

Not to mention they seem to be illegal in a lot of places since they can be an invasive species...
