can i keep an arrowana (with PICS!!!)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ya, he is in a grow out tank, making him nice and fat, the clown knife isnt really the one im worried about though, the normal ck is quite bad too lol and so is the jag !

hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that the arowana has been moved to the 6ft tank and in about 7 inches, hopefully in the next few months i will be able to move him in with the monsters ! in addition, does anybody know of methods to reduce nitarates effectively without massive water changes ?

You can keep the silver with no problems for sure!!!

nice! good luck with your arrow!!
awesome tank!!

I think the 27" side will present less of a turning problem as at least one of the sides attached to it has a greater than 90 degree angle. Neat tank and nice fish.

I don't have any experience with aros, but you should probably rehome some of those fish as to not over stock. As for the biofilter question, just add as many plants as you can. I don't do water changes on some of my freshwater tanks because certain plants can take out so many nitrates, water changes aren't nesesary.
