Can I put gouramis with my polypterus ?

I bought 3 gouramis and put it with my polypterus is it ok ??

"Those small ones" that really narrows it down lol. Gouramis in general tend to be pretty nippy (some species more than others), so that could become an issue, depending on the species. Also, if they are one of the smaller species (dwarf croaking gouramis, honey, flame or sunset gouramis), then they will eventually be eaten anyway.

Mine are those that most likely won't get eaten . But the external gills will it effect the poly growth ? Now it looks pretty broken the gills

Nipping at the gills will definitely affect the bichir. I'd remove the gouramis until the bichirs gills disappear.
