Can someone explain to me how 'Animal Lovers' think..?

EDIT: I am looking forward to your documentation of these accounts. I googled the concept, and all I found were 2 sites saying they do it for fun. The videos they posted were Orcas hitting the seal with their tail: Either tossing it in front of their mouth for an easy kill, or tossing it to another Orca for the kill. (Also known as teamwork. Orcas are known to form pods, and work together to ensure everyone in the pod has enough to eat.)

People love their dogs and cats and claim to be these extremist animals lovers when they would probably be horrified by what it takes to get that fancy piece of dressed up meat to their plate....or their animal's food.

I saw the Orca thing on TV years ago, I don't have any hard proof to back it up. No documentation, in fact my case file on this is strangely blank. lol. My point being that this isn't a legal battle, this is an internet forum, if you want to believe that I'm making this up then you can. My point was that mankind isn't the only species that's cruel. Bottleneck dolphins harass and rape other bottleneck dolphins, as an example. Now I'm not pro-senseless-killing or pro-dog-fighting, I'm just saying that you shouldn't be so anti-man. It's in our nature to be violent, just because some of the more sensitive of us rise above that basic instinct doesn't mean we should condemn the writhing billions that don't.

Once again, I am not anti-human. I stated below a response to someone stating that he only eats "non emotionally complex animals." Which, in fact, do not exist. Also, I posted a response to someone stating that dog-fighting is the same as hunting. I was saying that it is not, as dogfighting is taking pleasure in causing animals pain, as is hunting for that "trophy buck." Hunting for meat is something completely different.
Seriously, where are you getting this "anti-man" sentiment from me? I am proud of who I am, but at the same time I recognize some of the inherent flaws in our species.
Okay so basically I am getting this..
Humans kill animals for enjoyment.. they do it as a means of entertainment.
Animals do not kill other animals for enjoyment.. they do it as a means of survival.
but.. if Humans kill animals for survival.. then it is justified.
It's okay to kill livestock, because it's survival.
It's not okay to fight dogs, because it's enjoyment.
'sport' hunting is okay to some, because its killing for enjoyment while re-enacting the ancient techniques of survival.
and allowing your dog to jump up and attack expensive birds is just humans being moronic...
atleast some people could voice and their opinions without simply saying "thats wrong - because the tv told me thats wrong"..

Whoa, sorry, didn't realise this internet forum also doubled as a doctorate thesis, if I had I would have included a page with my references. Oh you looked up the dolphin rape thing on the internet did you? Well, you're instantly an expert then. I heard about it through a friend who is actually an expert on the subject, having a degree in marine biology. She's actually seen male dolphins, in real life, gang up on other males, all the time with massive hard ons, generally bully and try to couple with them. I haven't talked to her about the Killer Whale thing, maybe it is a myth, but even if it turns out it isn't, I might not have a url to back me up so it can't possibly be true. The anti-man thing was just from the tone of your posts, maybe it was more just anti-those guys, I dunno. I really am sorry I posted at all - I now remember why I stopped using the internet so much, because people can argue into any esoteric branch of knowledge and keep up with the help of google and ugh, it's just so much more frustrating than genuine human interaction.
