Can you dither a Jag to calm it down a bit?

There will be plenty of pics!

I took a bunch with my sisters camera but the cable is gone!

So i'll take some with Linda's CQ, the quality isn't that great but its better than nothing. Hopefully my sis grabs the cable from her apartment tonight while she's there.

Oh- almost forgot- about 7 of the eggs turned egg white and look like little mini boiled eggs. The other few hundred of the eggs are a somewhat see-through shade of pinkish red. Does that mean they are fertile? They've been on the slate for about 18 hours now. The Jag is hovering over them and fanning them with her fins. I love to watch but she tries to kill me if i put my face too close to the glass. I thought it was pretty funny so i tried pretending my index finger was a black mamba and put it in the tank. She nearly dragged me into the tank to kill me. Last time i try that one...

Wouldn't be a bad idea to divert the traffic over to the other thread. I dont know that i need any dithering fish any more. I might try a school of full grown tiger barbs if the jag gets less agressive. It was never so pissed off before until i guess it decided it had to lay some eggs!

The eggs did not get fertilized and the Jag ended up eating them up after 3 days.

The jag has calmed down a real lot though and the fighting has pretty much stopped. She has claimed a section of the tank where the JD isn't allowed to go, and the JD claimed the other side of the tank. The JD doesn' mind other fish so much, so he hangs around the small GT and even flares his gills at the Jag if she makes a move towards the GT.

All is well in the tank now.

I am still considering a small group of fish to help eat all the food that comes flying out of the jags gills when she chews. Its just hard to find a small fish that won't end up flying out of the jags gills when she chews. :D

I thank you all for your great responses and insights!
