Water always drips off the hose that I use the fill and drain, and it doesn't attach to the sink perfectly, so there is a tiny stream of water that sprays out when I fill. Its much easier than using a bucket though. I've accidentally overflowed it once of twice, and sloshed water out numerous times.
Can you do this?

The only time I don't make a mess is when I do water changes on my small tanks...like the 10g and the 6g lol.
Anything bigger I have a million cats waiting around my feet, hoping for a fish suicide they can snag. So I usually end up almost tripping over the cats making a huge mess lol.

I had one fish do a suicide jump while I was changing the water and ever since my cats wait by the tank for another. Oh and the fish didn't die, it was my golden algae eater.

ayee....I am not a cat collector lol. Just more than average..lol. I am a sap...ppl would bring me homeless cats and I couldn't say no. And one was pregnant. lol.

i did about 400 gallons before with no spill but ive also done 5 gallon changes and put 20 on the floor.... so hit or miss here
