  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You can use saw horses, I bought some from home depot that are rated at 500lbs for under $20.

My 55 gallon feeder tank is on the floor of my concrete floored basement with no issues. Your not gonna be able to gravel vac though.

From an interwebby place.

"Water weighs 1000 kilograms per cubic meter when it's a liquid at 4 °C. That's 1 gram per cubic centimeter. There are 3785.41178 cubic centimeters per U.S. gallon. That's 3785.41178 grams per gallon, or 3.78541178 kilograms per U.S. gallon. That's about 8.3454 pounds per U.S. gallon. "

Damn. beat me too it.:grinno:

I got a 40 gal breeder over the weekend and i didn't have a stand so i made one with cinder blocks, a piece of wood and some insulation Styrofoam. Sounds like it wouldn't hold but it was very cheap and it holds good and is level. Maybe try something with cinder blocks because they are so cheap.

Is the styro under the tank? I don't think your supposed to do that. And i think it voids any type of warranty you may have.
