sounds like cinder blocks and some plywood plus a sheet over it for looks will be your best option. I would go for it bro. You'll get better filtration that way and you will be able to use your gravel vac as well. But this is just me summing up this whole thread.

Is the styro under the tank? I don't think your supposed to do that. And i think it voids any type of warranty you may have.

I used it to level it. Also it said the warranty was void if i didn't use there all glass tank stand that they sold. But this is off topic so dont use Styrofoam i just used it to level.
