I have seen it work. You will probably end up with one that is dominent over the other and will grow faster do to getting more food and pushing the other around. Or you just may get lucky and get two that will cohabitate without any problems. Or you may get one that kills the other, but the only way you are really going to know it to try.

I wonder how long it works if it is going to work.. .. do you know anyone that actually had a couple of big guys together for a long time.. I wish i had known this when i bought my arrow a year ago ...I would have definitly given it a try and just be prepared to move some one in case it didn't work..if i was forewarned anyway... did anyone ever add a larger arrow in with an already big guy..or do they always start them as babies...

Heh, normmaly people do 3+ when they are around 4" or so so they can pair off as youngins than they move the paired off ones to a tank together.. and the outher ones they either try and have them be cool with eachouther or split them off into seperate tanks.

My 2 arowanas are in my 120gallon ones 6" the outher is 7" the 7" rules the tank but my oscar pushes them all around and hes 2" lol

I know somebody that added an 18'' black with a 26'' silver and they are doing great. The silver just pushed it around a couple days to show it who's boss, but they are doing great together.

I Have had 2 Large arows for a couple years and they weren't babies when they were put together. I DO have 3 arows now, though they are young still. You have to be able to tolerate a little rough housing. But when I had the two years ago that grew to over 2 feet, they were almost always peacefull with one another, but went through brief stints of aggression that (to me) seemed like more muscle flexing than real destruction. They are rougher when they are young. They mellow out with age. My 3 I have now its kind of interesting. I started with 2 (9" and 7") and they were constantly at battle , So, I bought a third thinking this would mellow them out. The third was a little smaller yet. Guess what happened.....wrong! The other two have completely ignored the smaller newbie and continued the battle amungst themselves. All that said, its not a deadly battle, and its one I'm pretty sure (keep fingers crossed) they will grow out of.

I thought about doin like 6 Jardinis just so I could keep more than 1 together later down the road :D I tried a silver with the Jar I have now and all he did was bully the silver..... did not kill, but just made the silver not wanna be alive, so I took him back to my friends pet shop. Funny thing tho is my Jar will not touch anything smaller than him. I have a Carpintis in with him and they friggin stick together at ALL times :screwy:
