How long can they last in the refrigerator? I bought some for the my Fish and Frog, but I'm not sure how long before they die.

i kept mine for a month and they seem to be alright...is it from a bait store?

Got them from Walmart

Yup. The only Walmart that I know carries them is 30 minutes away. I only bought 2 containers since the guy told me they only live a couple of weeks. Just wanted to make sure before I bought a gang of them for the Pixie Frog. Interestingly enough, I'm trying to get my Chinese Perch off live, but I decided to toss a worm in there and it didn't go for it. I'm getting really annoyed with it's stubborness.:irked:

They can last at least 4-5 weeks if they don't dry out. I take them out of the little tub of dirt and put them in tupperware with moist sphagnum moss.

Yea, go back that Walmart buy some soil and buy a fairly large tupperware/container and a few dozen earthworms. Stick em in the tupperware container with the dirt and feed them food scraps. They should start breeding pretty soon. THat way you will have and almost endless supply of earthworms. That would be sweet.
Something I will do once I am on my own. Plus earthworms are a great food source.
I have never seen a fish ever give up an earthworm(providing the fish can fit it in its mouth).

Also feed em some Tim's coffee eh!

Take Care. Always good to see another Canadian MFKer here.
