I'm a big fan of the XP3 myself, but to buy comparable media it's gonna cost near 200 bucks. Hard to beat the 2217 for 120 bucks(see link below)

I would say Rena xP3 if it was a few months ago and the cost was $90 but those days are gone, I bought one then and love it. The Eheim 2217 is the best deal for $120.
