I'm sorry to hear that bro. We've all been there. Some may disagree, but you could try CopperSafe or other copper product next time. I can only speak for myself, but I've had good results.
I have always been told that, but no it has not been true IN MY EXPERIENCE. My Loaches have been much more healthy & active since I started using it. I cant speak for all species, but the tank I use it in is stocked with Tiger Barbs, Opaline Gouramis, & my Loach shoal (Polka Dots, Clowns & Yoyos) & none have shown any ill effects in months. Even my 2 new oddball clowns-they brought Ick into the tank a week or so ago & its gone already. The spots they came with went away & no other fish ever had a single Ick spot. Again, just my opinion & experience.
If salt is proving itself useless to resistance by these protozoans, you could try formalin. Please be sure to aerate your tank very well because formalin can severely deplete the tank off its oxygen. Make sure your area is well ventilated as formalin can case respiratory problems to humans. I once inhaled it by accident and almost fainted from suffocation by it.
Your other alternative is malachite green. Malachite green is quite dangerous when overdosed and can also destroy your beneficial bacteria. I suggest dosing it in half less than recommended only.
Well, I'm ecstatic to see the overwhelming amount of suggestions and help I got from everyone, but it would seem as I should've asked sooner. I lost my last loach yesterday. Owell, I'll hope for better luck next time I suppose.

If the salt and heat treatment is working fast enough, which is rare, I use a methylene blue/formalin combination in half dose. Haven't lost any fish that way so far.
