Went with Midas for now,they should be turning up on wednesday, getting a group of 6 juvi's . Going to get something parachromis for the 280g , do you happen to know if they're alright in a community providing there is only one of them so no pairing etc?

Good choice on the Midas, post some pics when they arrive. As far as the Parachromis it's trial and error some are more tolerent of tank mates then others, female Jags are usualy pretty mellow as far as Para's go.
I'd like some green terrors for this one. Or you can make it a planted and do a bunch of little cichlids--kribs, keyholes, rams, etc. They all look beautiful. But I understand the desire for some big'uns when you have room for them. Geos are pretty when they breed, fo sho.

I have a wild caught oscar but that's just nervous and hides all the time so that'll be going soon.Once the 280's filled up i'll give it a go with the parachromis and see how it go's , all the tnak mates will generally be larger than it.
Going to be a suprise, i just asked someone who i know that can get stuff imported and asked him for some and he said he'll get some of his list. Well looking forward to them turning up. Getting them imported from Germany.Anubisscott;4104252; said:
