3 LFS around me sell HRP all under $10 each.

Like I said their not available from Petsmart. A LFS sure, but I was just saying they do not sell them at Petsmart, didn't mention the LFS. :D

I just got back from PetCo, they were out of Hikari Frozen Bloodworms, but they had Firemouths, $2.49 each

I'm thinking of breeding either a honduran red point cichlid or a firemouth cichlid. And i was wondering if anyone knew anything about breeding the two. Like do they eat their babies or can you keep another fish in with them. And my last Question is Which one's fry would sell for more money. please respond!:)

I am pretty sure you have been told the breeding process and, well, how easy it is to breed both species you have mentioned.........I am answering back on the question about which one is more valuable.I would have to say firemouths hold a higher price value more than convict fry....The Convict is looking more lke your average feeder these days.........Go tot ht estore and buy a pair of Convict cichlids, and you have yourself a "breeder start up" kit.........From past experiences, the convict cichlid is a good fish to trade at your store for more fish food and small supplies..I trade 10 two month fry for a bag HIKARI pellets when I need to.........

Well i went to the fish store. and I didn't buy either of the two. I bought two african cichlids called hap. burtoni and the guy said their mouth brooders and they'll breed in the next month. And i was wondering if anyone had any experience about breeding them.

I'm into Haps, and I've never heard of a Burtoni. Looked it up and doesn't look bad.

If there are people in your area that are into Africans, you could easily get $5+ for a fry (Africans always get more money due to: slower growth rate, less clutch).

Hap cichlids are not like your typical mbuna type. Haps get upwards to 12 inches in length. Might need to move em into a bigger tank after 6 or so months.

Convicts might sell for nothing but Honduran Red Points sell for more. More than a Firemouth, idk. I don't ever see Firemouths nor do I pay attention to the price, don't care for them really. Red Points really shouldn't be compared to Convicts for pricing, their totally different.

OP asked about HRPs, not convicts.

True HRPs will demand a higher price than firemouths

But you are right, cons will be hard to even give away.
