Hello; Yes I can imagine better ways the situation could be handled. So is the main issue that the police tokk more than one clean shot or is it more that the dog was killed?

IMO it shouldn't have been killed at all but yes I'm sadden that it was shot 7 times. Did you look at the picture of it walking on its own power after being shot 4 times? It's not an aggressive breed

My issue is that a single shot was fired...as far as I can tell the dog was merely barking,not in the act of mauling someone.
