Target fish would be the english for something to draw the aggression for the pair. Your Cr. menezesi would service that point. Dithers are schooling fish that draw out shy fish. They are not meant to have any aggression directed at them.

Ok, cool! Will the silverdollars work as dithers?

Do you have any other suggestions on fish in the same size as silverdollars?

I peronally use silver dollars , tinfoil barbs, and giant danios. I also use convicts with more aggressive fish but that can be problematic as the will pair off and are more aggressive than one would think.

I was thinking of buying maybe 5-6 and hopefully get a pair and then Keep the pair and one "bully" male.

I have them in a 150 I have a dominant one in the group . I believe it is a male
