Nice Scooby. :)

Rather newer than my beloved wagon:
I have the original STi, a version 1, (only 200 made). This is us doing some track time last summer and although it's ancient and completely unmodified mechanically it did me proud. :)

Thank you and very nice ride yourself. Good to see a fellow subaru owner here. You should get yourself a spec C RA living over there in the UK haha. It will cost you an arm and a leg and a fish collection probably.

escalades make me sad...

I dont even think that is an escalade. Framewise it looks more like a chevy s10 or something along those lines that has bodywork molded onto it and emblems. Its not my style but it looks like a lot of work went into it.

Here's a few:
Track3.jpg

My old EG6 Civic, B18C-R motor + close ratio gearbox. 14.0 @ 145kmh, and so much fun on a twisty road. I miss it every once in a while... :(

Our 'practical 4-door family car', 1996 Integra Type R

3-1.jpg

Our 2001 NZ-new Integra Type R (one of only two red ones in the country, only 7 made in total!), owned it for a month before deciding it was too much money to have sitting in the garage depreciating.

Small1.jpg

Dads 1954 Swallow Doretti, just finished a 5 year ground-up restoration a few months ago. Pictured with two out of the 8 total in New Zealand. There was only ever ~350 made, and I think there's around 50-80 world-wide now.

Wow a Doretti. Very nice. The type R is pretty bad too. There arent many FWD vehicles that I would love to have have but the integ type r has to be one. Thanks for sharing.

They're cool little cars, a lot of people are really surprised by how much fun they are despite being fwd and naturally aspirated. Our red one was traded in at a Porsche/Audi dealership and when we went to see it (about 30 minutes after it was traded in!) these guys who sell Porsches and Audi's for a living were all taking it for a thrash because they're so much fun!!
I would liked to have kept it and just done a few simple things (full Mugen intake and header/exhaust, good suspension and some nice rims, volk, work, ssr or similar) but I'd only just sold the civic and really needed a break from wasting money on cars. No real regrets in selling it, although I am being tempted by the silver 98 spec ITR I see on a yard every time I go to the LFS....
