Dads 1954 Swallow Doretti, just finished a 5 year ground-up restoration a few months ago. Pictured with two out of the 8 total in New Zealand. There was only ever ~350 made, and I think there's around 50-80 world-wide now.

do these have any realtion to Austin Healy 3000's? my father owned one for awhile and they look very similar.

First is my 87 I-ROCZ nextis my in the process of becoming a pro-stock car 84 Berlinetta got a 427 sitting on the floor for it as soon as I weld up a front frame so I can put the Big block in it. Next is 1968 AMC Javelin that I just got done painting. Next U-Model Mack. Next Ferarri Tesstarossa my fathers but soon mine in a year or so when he is selling it. Next the 39 chevy out from paint as well and all lead work as well has original sheet metal from another 39 to repair the rot and finally my Harley FLH or Electra glide. Also have a 87 5.0 mustang that I am selling as well as a 96 Mustang GT both are being sold so anyone in CT looking for a 5.0 or newer GT PM me. S-10 pickup 4.3 litre and a 96' jeep grand cherokee. We have alot more cars but I don't have pics. Like pathfinders, maximas, Dakotas, Old 71 cutlass and a Skylark. I could get pics if you guys want but it doesn't really matter nothing special. Oh and almost forgot and how could I forget this 1967 Jaguar E-Type v12 roadster. We have alot of cars and I can't even remember to post them lol. When I go to my familys shop I'll get pics of our old caddy's and Jag E-Types.

Not really, although I think Dad used modified Healy bumpers in the restoration.
The Doretti came about because Dorothy Dean, the Californian agent for Triumph and Jaguar, suggested there was a market for a mid-priced roadster in between the cheap Triumph TR2 and the expensive Jag. So the Doretti was based on a TR2 chassis, and the body was built by Swallow, who were part of Jaguar a the time (AFAIK).
Dads car is a bit of an oddball, in that it was pieced together after production stopped by one of the directors of the company. Here's a link to the restoration: http://www.doretti.co.uk/nr1425-1.htm
