I'll be waiting to see them. I havent seen a good delorean in a while. As far as the spelling for some reason I always thing of Korean but I guess it works. Tell whomever the owner is to get the gullwings up before you take the pic.

You know your in for a lot of work once you throw it on the rotiss. Are you doing the work yourself or having it done? And if you dont mind me asking, I'm just curious as to what your friend might be planning for his car.

I'm haveing the work done by a very reputible shop in my area....It's being done right---I dont simply have the time to do it myself-Nor the skill it would take to do it right.....

As far as the STI goes....It will go from top mount to front mount...
Gt35R or FP green..Haven't decided which yet...And we are decideing on where to go from that point......
It will see a weight reduction also....
Suggestions by chance....

lol. Nice was this your friends? I dont hate evos or anything it was just my preference to go with the sti. It would have been a lot cheaper to go with an evo and modify it. I think the only reason for that though is because the stock turbo is a far better powerplant than subaru's.

It's all inhumor of course-
We have many friends that drive evo's as well.....

But couldn't believe we got the luck of the draw for the dummy at DMV....

I would certainly consider an evo over an STI.....

It all depends on what hes looking to use it for if youre deciding between those two turbos. FPgreen for a faster spool up but you'll run out of breath sooner than if you were to go with the gt35. With a gt35 you have to run a rotated setup so that means different up-pipe and down pipe. Also if he wants to look into it, Check out element tunings gt52. Pretty good turbo from what I hear and is a stock location turbo. Does he have a target HP goal that he wants to reach? And is his bottom end built up any?

Thanks-
He's knows he will have to go rotated on the GT35...
He does alot of track and light to light raceing (unfortunately)....

I will tell him to look at that GT52 setup though...

He would like to reach a goal of around 450 to the wheels this year....And drop to low 11's

Think that is possible....

Bottom end is all stock right now---But thinking if he can get the right setup-He will go with forged internals with the stock block...

I see. He can reach 450awhp on a gt35 or a gt52 on a c16 map with a good tuner. If hes mainly into straight track drags runs then I would for sure go with a gt35 instead of the fpgreen. with a gt35 its definitely a good idea to go with forged internals because most 35 setups dont hit full boost until around 6k and with needing to shift no later than 8200 on a stock block makes for a very narrow powerband.

Thats one thing we never took into consideration....

Tune wise-He fly's Jerry up from PDX to due the tunning

N ething else we should really consider when going about this upgrade...

I completely understand about the Sky's lack of performance, I just like the way it looks!!! I still want a Lotus Elise so badly!!!!

The Sky isn't bad performance wise. It's not the fastest thing on the road, but it is 260 HP and very light.
