Awesome good to know very helpful.
So the carnivore plecos should help with the leftover shrimp and meaty stuff that the myleus silverdollars, cichlids, lima and bgk miss? How do they eat with their short mouths?
Yea the Royals are cool have owned a few in the past love them. Gotta get some big driftwood pieces for decor and them. So the royals will mainly eat the wood?
The veggie eaters will have a lot of veggie foods available as I do feed lettuce and stuff to the silverdollars.

I keep my royals and sultan with my bichirs and afer knife and they seem to do well I'll try to remember to video the sultan at feeding time but he can be shy if I'm close to the tank. If I don't feed early enough he trys to go after the mystery snails

In my experience, all plecos will eat meat, veggies and wood. I think that when people say 'carnivore' or 'wood eater', they mean mostly.

Oh nice, I'd love to see him eat if you are able to film it.

Yea that thought did cross my mind, so all of the fancy plecos I have will eat well.

My big 191 will get down on some shrimp tail and tilapia, pushes the "carnivores" right out of the way.

I try and provide a mix, they will figure out what they like. I basically feed a variety:

Zucchini, Green Beans, Yams, Melon
Hikari sinking gold, Algae wafers
Cut fish, raw shrimp, clam

Plus plenty of wood variety. Mopani, Malaysian, local collected driftwood.
