Good stuff! I wanted to do the same thing.
Ship me some yeah? So I don't have to breed my own.

Thanks man. Still do not plan on shipping random culls around the US. If anything ever turns out decent, of course I would sell it. (if there are enough of them to satisfy my own needs)

Heh, remember that I'm near the top of the list to get some fry. Not too many parrot looking ones this time around. I just see the yawning one- is that parrot shaped or does he just appear that way b/c of the camera angle and yawn?

I have six tanks full...This is all from one tank. There are many parrot looking ones all together, they have been separated.. They are so tiny still, and the FH looking ones are enormous!

You don't cull the pearlless ones?

LOL. I will cull when it is time. I will post this same fish in 6 months and we will decide together if it is cull worthy...

A little drab, but it's grown a lot- I concur with giving it a bit more time. Now stop holding back and post pics of the pearly ones and the parrot shape ones. :)

Those tend to stay drab for a while. My friend has most of my last caprintis x BP batch, uglies included. Probably only 25% have pearls, the rest are grey, like that one. Here's the keeper from the batch.

It's up to you if you want to keep raising the low grade fry, but IMO it's fish food and tankspace better spent on the fry that are higher quality.

Looking good nick. You could almost pass them off to LFS as low grade SRTS. Another generation or two and you'll have something there.
