Stop brow beating me. I am not the rainman. There are hundreds of them in many tanks.I'm just giving you a hard time. 
I've actually been curious as to what the pearlless fry would look like grown out a bit, so keep us updated for sure. At 3.5", I think the lower grade fry my friend has from my batch still look the same, grey. I'm interested in what a 8 or 9 inch version of the same fish would look like, if it'd get any color or not.

I am curious as well...You would think a hot pink fish, and a fish with neon green spots MUST be able to make something. I am not sure any of them would stay grey...Red devils, and baby parrots look the same plain drab grey, and we all know what they turn into. So we will see.
they are looking good. it looks like that last one has a green sheen to it and the pearls are starting to come in. cool
Spizz, the top one looks great. Hold onto that bigger gray one- it may peel orange to a BP color.
I guess it all depends on what kind of fish you're going for. In my case, I wanted Red Texas, so I culled all the fish without pearls. I figured even if some pearlless ones would've faded, if I want an orange fish without pearls, I'd go with a Midas or something with more shape than a carpinte. If a pearlless one got really really orange, I'd be interested in seeing a picture. So here's hoping you get some faders!
