I'd like to get a catfish for my 220g (72"x 24"w x30") but I don't know what kind to get. I like giraffe cats, but I'd like to have something that won't outgrow my tank. I want a bottom dwelling cat that isn't overly active, will grow fairly quickly, will get to at least 14", and that won't eat my other fish.:grinno: I also don't want something that will be hard to get or overly expensive. Does a fish that meets all these needs even exist? lol Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. :)

Stock List: (sizes are approximate not exact)
14" RB Pacu
13" Tire Track Eel
14" Silver Aro
6-7" Senegal Bichir
4 bala sharks between 5.5"-7"
10" Sailfin Pleco

Bullhead all the way....yellow, brown, black, peppered....what ever...a bullhead.

Would a bullhead be okay with my balas and sen? I was told by a guy at a lfs (who seemed to know what he was talking about) that a bullhead would eat them.

A ripsaw would easily outgrow my tank. :(

So will the Pacu.
Look into a marbled Pim. Would be a great cat for that tank.
