Not always. I was on there last week looking at the profile for the giraffe cat and it didn't show that any members had it. And I know giraffe cats aren't that rare (at least they aren't where I live).

EDIT: Oh nevermind, I just looked at it again, and I think I was looking at the profile for A. biscutatus rather than A. occidentalis
