alright weirdos calm down.

Agreed^ Believe it or not, some people find the idea of boiling a cat to death offensive.

It's a hard thing to stop. Do you know anybody that lives in the country? It sounds like that cat may need to become an outdoor kitty...

We have one cat that started peeing everywhere. The heat vent was bad, but the bed was the final straw. Sylvester lives outside now about 80% of the time. He hasn't peed inside since he's been going out.

Good luck. There's always the Humane Society. We've adopted three cats from them. It's a hard thing to do, but it's definitely better than a potato sack :(

haha. oh man. i used to have a huge sling shot slung between two trees. could fling a kitten about 80yrds to the river on the other side of the yard. haha. i miss Alabama.

I hope that's supposed to be a joke. Besides being horrible and repugnant, animal cruelty is illegal (even in Alabama).

eh, they're just trying to be funny. It doesn't really work all that well, but it's an A for Effort sort of situation.

Wouldn't pissing on a socket be kind of like pissing on an electric fence? When I first read that I didn't think you'd have to worry about the cat because I figured it would aready be fried.

You're almost certainly right, but it kind of reminded me of the soldier throwing the puppy off the cliff - not at all funny to me.

Mythbusters "proved" that peeing on an electric wire won't electrocute you. :) The high-speed cameras showed the stream of pee is actually not continuous...

Humane society: If you do that someone else is likely to end up with your problem kitty.

IMO make sure it's spayed/neutered and throw(not literally) it outside..

And if he continues that problem in their house, he'll end up back at the 'pound' and probably be put down.

I had this problem with my male cat, and he was crazily destuctive and would sit on the edge of he box and pee OUT of it. even the inclosed ones lol, I would NOT declaw him to fix the scratching, so I got him fixed and he's out during the day, and comes in at night. his problem stopped, but now he races around my room at 40MPH unless I close the windows so he can't see out.

That sounds like our cat, only he goes out all night and morning. When he is in he is happy just to sleep on his chair for a while! Some cats (especially males) never adjust well to a completely indoor lifestyle. Two of our cats (Nigel and Lucy) live 100% in the house and are happy as can be. Sylvester lived inside from the time that he was a small kitten, but was always a pain in the butt. Around the age of a year he started peeing in weird places (despite being neutered at six months). He also started crying at the windows. After struggling with the urination problem for several months we started letting him go outside. The peeing stopped immediately. Over the last few years he has gradually started spending more and more time outdoors, especially in good weather.

I really didn't mean to suggest he take his cat to a shelter, just that it is a better option than killing him outright...

Mine was out for 3 years, someone shot him, that was when I could convince the parents to let him in, when I get my own place he'll have an outdoor 'room' with a kitty door leading inside. He can't be out at night because that crazy female comes out at night and trys to kil my dumb blob of fat.
