Some people put the pellets in whatever the fish is accepting first to get them used to the taste. But I don't think you'll have a problem getting it to eat

I bet the vulture will end up at 10-12" by the end of the year. Also, the vulture will probably start "perching" when it gets a little bigger. Mine perch on the driftwood all the time.

So instead of stressing with the pellet training im gonna shift geaes and get them to feed regularly with the lights on.

You guys mentioned how fast the vultures grow but my lord. It had to double in size if not more already.


The large l.oncinus is a beast and has a cool personality. I put a piece of tilapia in and all hell broke loose



Male oncinus is kind of a bore.
