Very happy the jur and male jag both ate some chopped shrimp. Ive been trying to feed the jur with the tongs to no avail. But noticed tonight that his had a pretty decent sized belly bump.

Another cool thing is i can see what you guys were say about jurs being elegant. To me it looks kind of like a fish snob with it noae sticking up in the air

... and perching...which is a pretty cool sight, not sure why but its kind of cool looking like its trying to be extra fancy or something

Haha... It's nothing that it's doing purposefully. It runs in its blood. I like to think of Brachie as catfish royalty. They do everything with much inherent dignity and grace.

The jags look top notch. I know they were very expensive but you got what you paid for. I noted quite a variability in jaguar catfish and far, far not all look as good a yours.

Yes, the vulture will eat massive amounts of food. Here's a few pictures of one of mine after an eating binge:



However, in my experience, even though they may eat a lot, they don't get fat like many other types of catfish, like your jags. Mine have stayed very lean.

Also, the vulture will start to do the tripod stance like your jur is doing. It will also probably start to perch on top of decor balancing on its stomach. Here's a picture of mine doing that:

Gorgeous cats travis. Im really happy i decide to get the vulture i think it will turn into a family favirote. The little guys is suoer active zipping around the tank
