I would I would, although I think that vet is bsing him b/c my cat had a uti and 2 kidneystones and only charged $500 for surgery and to take everything out and fix it.
Wow, that's a reasonable price.
Update on it. The cat had surgery. They remove the gall bladder stones. He is tube feeding right now and recuperating. I asked him how much he already shelled out, he said alot. More than 3k already. The cat's doing good and he'll be back home on Saturday. :woot:

My cat's fine all is good is cat world =) I <3 my cat. This is my cat:

I agree, the vet's a crook. We have taken a kitten to a college hospital out of state before. My pets are my family. Usually pets treat YOU better than your family.

Did you see the Koi Surgery? Some vet was doing surgery on a fish, I guess the owner was attached to the fish & it was rare. cost between 12 & 20 thousand.
He was kissing on another koi in his pond also? :naughty:

Where did you see the information about the Koi surgery? What kind of Koi surgery? I just had my Redtail-Tiger Shovelnose Hybrid operated on to remove a tumor on its pectoral fin. He or rather we went to the Veterinary Hospital out-patient-clinic for several hours while my pet fish went under the knife. He came home right after the surgery and is doing well in his back yard 2400 gallon aquarium. After reading the other postings about the cost of veterinary care I must have had the bargain of a lifetime; $200 total.

surgry bill for our pets are rediculous!!!

they shouldnt cost so much i know 200$ is alot of money but its better than 5K

and i dont understand why people insist on putting there pets down because "she/he was in pain/suffering" or "its what she would have wanted"

but when its a person or a family member, they do all they can to save them or make them hold onto life as long as possible and those people dont want to die either. and making the animal live is considered "selfish"

oh wait then i guess making a child hold on to life knowing that he's gunna die is selfish also?

i think every animal has as much desire to live as a human being does.
