Just finished doing a w/c for my Dobisi. We have a crazy cat name 'Dice' he's black and white rescue that just LOVES to jump on top of my tanks and sit and look pretty. Well I had the hood off the Dobisi tank and out of nowhere suddenly Dice is head first in the tank. I was in shock, I went to grab him (was like in slow motion) and I couldn't grip him because he was submerged. So I was holding him under the water trying to grab him (one-handed mind you still spyhoning the tank at the same time). Some how I flipped him backwards and out of the tank. He scampered away soaking wet!!

Lessons learned:

Me- be prepared for anything when doing a w/c

Dice- don't jump on top of the tanks anymore

:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Never a dull moment I tell ya!

lol i bet those fish have never been so scared.

OMG!! Were they ever, one of them jumped out of the water but landed back in the tank. It's so funny when I think about my cat. He probably wanted to jump on the lid to rub against me and purr, he does that on the sink and the table...:ROFL:

:ROFL:that poor little cat. my sisters dog did that once but the oscar wasnt scared at all. then again the fish was 2 times the size of the dog. i was scared for it:irked:
