Nah, I live right by it and boat and fish there all the time.

To those of us who love being on the lake, it seems that low. Actually, yesterday it was down 149.96 feet. Much much too low. Bought two public launching permits because we love the Pitt River arm. Never launched at Jones Valley or by the dam..never used the season passes this summer...ended up giving them away and bought a pass for Bridge Bay. It was just much safer for the boat. We didn't go up the Pitt arm at all this summer
Wish I lived in Redding and could play there 6 or 7 months a year, instead of just the summer. Heard it's really fun to be on a houseboat in the winter when there's snow everywhere.You're really fortunate to live by the lake.
