Mine always attack the glass when I clean it. I'm going to try the laser pointer. That could be a good party trick.
 
Try throwing coins across the front of the tank, just dont hit the glass. Mine love it, and they also chase any bugs in the air.
 
my mono is blind in his right eye so i try to sneak past him but he feels the vibrations as i walk by. He chases anything that moves.
 
I learned this with my first occel and a red cat toy...he would go crazy when u threw the ball past the tank. I had another incident with a red head lamp and lights out. Had a 16" mono jump out of a 300 gal rubbermaid and into my chest lol...true story, scared the sh** outta me, but very cool. Amazing how good their sight is, especially for red things.

HHAHA. They love trying to catch a laser. I make mine go crazy trying to catch a red dot in the tank hahahaha

Are you gonna leave your kels in your 300g and put the big boys in the 1000g?
